Widnes Clinch The PlayOff Title

The Altrincham Aces closed the 2016-17 season with a trip to Sheffield to play Widnes Wild in the Play Offs. In a spirited match Wild edged the game by a 2-0 score line. Congratulations to Widnes who went onto win the Play Off title. Man of the match for Aces was Declan Ryan.

Aces Finish 3rd

The Altrincham Aces having beaten the Coventry Blaze at the weekend 6-2 secured the 4th and last play off spot in the league under their own merits. However, they still had an outstanding fixture to play away at the Hull Jets. Hull were unable to reorganise the fixture so the league awarded the match to the Aces by a 5-0 score line. This result means the Aces finish the season in 3rd place and now face the Widnes Wild in the play offs in Sheffield instead of the Blackburn Eagles. Tickets for

Tonight the Aces confirmed their place in the end of season playoffs with a 6-2 victory over the Coventry Blaze. MVP went to Tom Gilbert.
